Three Rivers is a privately held specialty drug manufacturer focused on developing, manufacturing and marketing branded and generic products for patients with serious diseases. Three Rivers markets several products for the growing hepatitis C market, including INFERGEN™ (Consensus Interferon), Ribasphere® (ribavirin, USP) and RibaPak® (ribavirin). The company also markets AMPHOTEC® (Amphotericin B Cholesteryl Sulfate) for the treatment of invasive aspergillosis, a life-threatening systemic fungal infection, and anastrazole for the treatment of certain cancers. Torreya Partners served as Three Rivers’ exclusive financial advisor in the company’s sale to Kadmon. Headed by former ImClone Chief Executive Officer Samuel Waksal, Kadmon acquired Three Rivers for an undisclosed amount over $100 million financed with a combination of debt and equity.
